Classic Grade

Though, this series is old, but still in production in small numbers.

First Grade – This category is of small and simple gundam figures, even a small kid can assemble easily. And there is no ‘poseability’ and also the color quality is bad. The only good thing is that they are really cheap; some pieces come for less than $5.00.

Basic Grade

The gundam action figure toys of this category are in production since 1987 and this series has been the basic level range from Bandai. The newest pieces are much better than the early ones of 1987. They are generally better than the toys of ‘classic grade’. These are priced at - $10.00 or less.

High Grade – This category of gundam action figures toys is for more serious collectors. These figure toys have better molding than the basic grades. The toys come in three sizes - small (1/144), big (1/100), and HUGE (1/60).

Master Grade – These are toys for the big boys. They are big toys with removable armor and internal skeletons. This category of gundam action figure toys have weapons and cool gimmicks like metal parts, mesh tubes, opening cockpits with a pilot inside.

Perfect Grade

The Bandai gundam action figure toys of this category are huge with large parts, removable armor, metal screws and lots of electrical wiring. These toys can replicate the real thing very closely.
