Lost Action Figures

The Lost action figures hold a respected place in the world of action figures toys.
These lost toys are based on the famous TV series, The Lost. People of al ages like to collect these collectibles.
The Lost
This is an American TV series. The story revolves around the plane crash survivors who find themselves on a mysterious tropical island after their plane crashes somewhere in the South Pacific. Each episode of this drama series features a primary storyline on the island itself and also a parallel storyline that reflects the characters’ life before the crash. However, in the later episodes, the plot devices change this. The first episode of this super hit series was broadcasted on 22nd September, 2004 and till now five full seasons have been aired. This show airs on the ABC and other TV channels in the States and also in some other countries.
Licensed Lost Merchandise – The popularity of this drama series is so big that it spawned several products like figure toys and games. ‘Lost : Via Domus’ is a video game released after this series for game consoles and computers. Also a game was developed mobile phones and iPods based on the Lost.
The Lost Toys
Action figure lost is manufactured by many toy manufacturers like McFarlane Toys, Medicom and Sideshow Collectibles. These companies make figures of all the characters that are part of this TV series.
But, officially McFarlane Toys is the first company that produced recurring series of lost action figures. They released the first series in the end of 2006 and the following series was released in July, 2007.
The Characters
Jack, Hurley, Charlie, Shannon, Kate, Locke, Sawyer, Jin, Sayid, and Desmond, Michael, Walt, Boone, Ana Lucia, Libby and Ethan
Toy companies produce figures of all these characters and also a ‘crash site’ box-set is available with some sets.
Till now there have been five seasons of the Lost have been telecasted and after every season, the toy companies launch different series of action figure lost.
The figures of the ‘lost action figures series 3’ are very popular. This series has collectible toys of 4 characters from the series - Sayid, Claire, Desmond, and Henry Gale. All are 6 inches figures and come with a detailed base with a backdrop that has an episode-specific moment relating to that character.
Because of the growing international fan community, the demand for lost action figures will only increase in the near future.
