Playmate Comes Up With New Star Trek Ranges

May has come and in this month you will see that the ‘Playmates toys’ has arrived with new line of action figures toys. Playmate has come up with 3 separate ranges of action figures. One range called ‘Galaxy’ has 3 3/4" inches busts, fits well with play-sets and vehicles. Then the ‘Warp’ series has 6" inches states and the third line ‘Command’ has 12" inches figure toys. All these three lines are based on your favorite Star Trek movie.

The Packaging

The packing is good for all three ranges. On the front of the card, it explains the character and the accessories enclosed. Each toy comes with a bonus piece. On the back of the packing, you can see information of all 10 first release figures and there is a bridge diagram.

The Downside

The joints of the hips, they restrict the free movement (only few poses possible). But these action figures toys can stand on own with balance.

Accessories

There are phasers, a Starfleet base (can use a shirt pin) and a utility belt (with holster). And there are extra pieces for the bridge and also a chair. All the panels have specific stickers for the respective instruments. The Uhura and Nero figures are available with accessories that are compatible with the transporter room.

So, overall these toys are fun for the kids as they can re-enact scenes from the movie. They are not expensive like some other figures. The toys are durable and priced at $6.99 each.
