POKEMON - Pokemon is a video game created by Satoshi Tajiri and published by the video game company Nintendo. Pokemon was originally released as a pair of inter linkable role-playing games, and since then it has become the second most successful video game-based media franchise in the world.

Game - The original Pokemon video games were Japanese RPGs created by Satoshi Tajiri for the Game Boy. These role-playing games came with an element of strategy and the sequels, remakes and English versions are still considered the ‘main’ Pokémon games. The Game Play – All the games in the Pokémon RPG series, from the first to the latest ones, takes place in a particular region of the fictional Pokemon world. It begins with the player receiving a ‘Starter Pokemon’ from the local Pokemon ‘Professor’. Then, the player increases the strength of his Pokemon collection by traveling around the world, capturing and evolving Pokémon and defeating other trainers. The main subplot of all games is to defeat a criminal organization by taking over the planet through the misuse of Pokemon. Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua and Team Galactic are few criminal organizations.
