Star Trek
Star Trek is science fiction TV show. It was created by Gene Roddenberry.
It aired on TV in 1966 after remaining in planning for at six years. Initially this series was discontinued due to the low ratings. Primary Star Trek Weapons
Disruptors - Disruptors are used by several alien species including Romulans, Klingons, Breen and Orions. They cause damage in the body by exciting the atoms and breaking the bonds.
Varon-T Disruptors – These were seen in the TNG episode. These weapons tear the body. The character Kivas Fajo had four Varon-T disruptors before his capture and arrest for theft.
Lasers – These act as the sidearm in the episode, "The Cage". In one episode, the ship-mounted lasers were incapable to face the USS Enterprise-D and on two other occasions, it was threatened with laser-armed spacecraft.
Pulse Cannons – After lasers, a new weapon was invented for the new NX-class. This weapon could fire greater energies from long range, but continuous fire could cause damage to itself. To addressing this issue, starfleet scientists modified it to fire in a with a burst stream to help regulate the temperatures. Later, it was replaced by the Phase Cannon.
Today, the range of star trek figures and toys also include sets of Star Trek weapons.
