Wrath Action Figures Censored

Wrath Figures

In the history of action figures, this is the first time when a toy has been rejected due to
‘extreme violence’. The figure has been banned by the European Agency of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM). Earlier, the agency approved the registration of the action figures that reflect the ‘’Seven Deadly Sins’ corresponding to Envy and Pride, but the Wrath figure has been banned because according to the agency it is ‘contrary to good behavior and public order’ as it represents extreme violence.

Antonio Barranco, Geek Toys’ president said that ‘the company too avoids this type of behaviour as described the European agency, but the figure reflects only horror and it has been a part of the human vices depiction.

This is the first time that an action figure has received rejection due to these reasons. Though, the European agency has also asked Geek Toys to modify the current depiction of Wrath action figure by removing the blood, but Geek Toys disagrees with this advice of the agency stating that the figure is directed to adult customers, so there is no need to make any changes. This new series will hit the markets during the Christmas season where it has not been banned.
